It's a long day of hiking and taking photos. You're tired and just want to get your pictures done and go home. You start getting frustrated because your memory card is getting full or you lost your lens cap. When you start yelling at your camera it's time to step back and look at the beauty around you. Look at the small things.
Look at the big things.
Just stand and gaze at God's creation. Listen to the sound of it. It's awesome. And this moment of silence helps you realize what you need to photograph at that moment. Be thinking about what makes this place so beautiful. Or what makes that sound. It helps to capture that place and convey the emotion around you. We all need the occasional break from pressing that shutter button to view the world around us through our own eyes.
